Going to Waikowhai intermediate.

Good afternoon
Today some year sixes went to Waikowhai intermediate.When we arrived at Waikowhai intermediate  we had to sit down in the hall .The hall was really big.After that the principal (Mr King ) had his little speech about their school then he was introducing all the teachers and what class they teach in.I forgot what my teachers name was but when i got to my class room my teacher called out the names for the roll and she said "sorry if i get your name wrong if i do just correct me".After all of that my teacher told us about her and told us about what types of stuff we might do next year. I'm pretty sure she wanted to figure out more about us so she gave us this paper it looked super cool when it was coloured  in because i saw my teachers finish  one then Mr King(principal) gave another speech then we got walked back form the counsellors. What is in the News this Week???

Today my class Reading task was to find an article from the 23 to the 30 which is today  . I read a article called First Kiwi build houses opened with street party. One interesting fact I found out from reading this News article was that the government plan was to build 100,000 homes in the next decade.How i felt when i was reading the  article was surprised and interested because how can there build 100,000 houses? and where are they going to put all of these houses?This is a word the i was unsure about development the meaning of this word is an event constituting a new stage in a changing situation.

It has been a BUSY start to Term 4. But we started our First week back from the holidays  like this.

In this photo our task was to brainstorm what we thought happend to these shose.My group and i thourght that he might play sports or this person might do hiking . The gender we thought could be a boy. And It was.

The people who was involved was 5 of my friends that was from Parekowhai class. Why we did this was that I think it was part of Life education. But I learned that the purpose was that to DON”T judge people on what they look like  and you DON”T need to be friends to be Friendly and just be yourself.

One main messge I found out was that people need to get more exercise. I think they put the article on the new to share to the world how lazy countries can be.The article was not based at any where but it is mostly about New Zealand.

Bad habits

Hey bloggers

Today I had to do a task about bad habits.If you don't know what  bad habit is it something you do continuously. Here is some example of bad habits people do: chewing on their fingernails ,picking there nose and menny more(eat it). Gaming is a problem because it can damage your eyesight. A screen is too bright which can mean you are straining your eyes to look at it.. Having a bad habit is not always that bad but it depends what your habit is. Some habits can hurt yourself like : gaming talking(maybe) and many more.

Talking can get me into  trouble sometimes. My habit does not hurt any part of my body but it might hurt my  throat if I talk to loud. When I get in trouble I feel embarrassed and try not to do it again. Talking is very hard for me to try stop, it is very addicting and non stop because I just have so much to say to my friends.

The last day of term.

Today is the last day of term two .So today we went to the flying fox's park .It was a fun adventure to go to the park.Also when i was there i enjoyed playing in the bush with my friend I enjoyed lt a lots. Today the whole School went on a trip we went there on a big bus.The trip was at linfield college School we had to walk through the entrance. When we were walking we had to stop then we were waiting for them to start.When they started the doors open and they were singing  a Moari song as they were singing we move forward slowly.Then they finish singing so we walk up the steps we had to take our shoes of to enter the Marea. We all sat down some adult were sitting in the front all boys were at the front then girls were at the back.Some students from linfeld college were singing and dancing then it was our school time to sing so we sang i cant remember what we sang but they said we sang good. It was time for brain food break after brain food break we did lots of actives then we walk to the bus well we were walking back to the bus we all said bye and thank you also we gave them a tree they can plant and grow. Also heres a gogle drawing i did hpe you enjoy.

In class we were reading a book called there's a boy in the girls bathroom by Louis Sachar.
One of the activities we had to do is create a invitation for one of the charters
 called Colleen it was her birthday and she wants to invite Jeff so we had to make her invitation. Have a look at the one i made.

SLJ Day three

Today i am going to tell you three safety  thing that you have to know when trailing on planes .

Number one is that if there is a fire you should always now were the fire exit is if you don't then there will be light that lead you there so you get out safe.

Number two is that when you need some more air the oxygen  air mask will fall down from the air  so you can get some more oxygen .

Number three if a emergence happens and you  have a set in front you have to put your head on the set and also your feet have to be flat on the ground but if you have no set in front of you will have to put your hands above you head and also your will have to put your forehead onto your neese then you also your feet have to be straght
